Porsche India to launch 718 Boxster, 718 Cayman and new variant of Macan by 2016

German luxury car maker Porsche is all set to bolster its presence in India with an array of new launches. The car maker just updated its flagship 911 sports car range in India and the company will launch 718 Boxster, 718 Cayman and a new variant of the Macan SUV before this year ends.

Porsche India began operations this year with the launch of the new Panamera, and the brand is planning to launch a total of five new vehicles this year. "Porsche India started the year with the latest edition four-door sedan Panamera in January. The latest range of Porsche's flagship 911 model was launched in June.

Three more models will be launched in the fourth quarter: 718 Boxster, 718 Cayman and a variant of Macan. It is very rare for Porsche to have so many product launches in a year," Pavan Shetty, director of Porsche India told the Times of India.
