Features, Specification , Camera , everything
Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Note 7 flagship phablet will be unveiled on August 2nd. The company has sent out invites for the 7 Unpacked 2016 event for August 2nd, which will take place simultaneously in three locations – New York City, Rio de Janeiro, and London.
Mobile payment, reinvented
Now it’s possible to pay with your phone in places you’d never expect. Unlike other mobile payments, Samsung Pay works in more locations than any other mobile payment service3—almost anywhere you can swipe or tap your card. (Even that old-school corner store.)
Samsung will also be live streaming the events on its Newsroom website. The invite also confirms that the Galaxy Note 7 will come with a new S Pen.
“The Galaxy Note7 will allegedly offer an iris scanner, a fingerprint sensor, a heart rate monitor and waterproofing”
Samsung has officially confirmed that it will jump from Galaxy Note 5 (review) to the Note7 directly. The company explained the reason in the invite, “First and foremost though, you might be curious as to why it’s called Galaxy Note7 instead of Galaxy Note6.
There are a couple reasons why. First, the Galaxy Note7 will complement our Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, and unify our product portfolio. Second, the Galaxy Note7 will minimize confusion about the latest mobile technology from Samsung, and provide full alignment with Galaxy S smartphone.”
Recently, a few press renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note7 were leaked on the interwebs in three hues – Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Blue Cora. As per the reports, the phone will arrive in a single variant with a dual edge display like the one seen on the Galaxy S7 edge (review).
